Welcome to the Utah Geological Survey - State Energy Program Training Website
The Utah State Energy Program is dedicated to providing outreach and education on energy related issues that impact our lives and work. This website continues that tradition, providing video training on a variety of code, beyond code and related building science issues, and offers guidance on the design and construction of efficient, durable and sustainable buildings in Utah.
We hope you find the video modules listed under the Topic Tabs above useful, and invite you to contact us with ideas and support as we develop this site to meet your current and long-term training needs!
On January 1, 2007, Utah adopted the 2006 edition of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). The Utah State Energy Program, along with partners Questar Gas, Rocky Mountain Power, Moon Lake Electric, and St. George Water & Energy Services, is pleased to provide free training on the 2006 IECC to builders, code officials, engineers, architects, and other in the building community.
